Happy 90th birthday Burt Bacharach.

Burt Bacharach along with Hal David has composed and written some of the most iconic tunes of the 20th century.

He has written and recorded with the biggest names in the business including Dionne Warwick, Petula Clark, Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Gene Pitney, Tom Jones, the list is endless. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Bacharach and David at #32 in their Top 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.

  • “The look of Love” by Dusty Springfield. Beautiful song and wonderful artist. Burt and Dusty, what a combination. Partnership made in Heaven!

  • Wonderful music and lyrics. He has touched millions with his music. The only one I wasn’t familiar with was Adam Faith, message to Martha. Otherwise all lovely songs.
